If you are new or recently moved to Denver, you’re probably discovering a few things about the Mile High City. First of all, we’re a pretty transient bunch! A lot of folks that live here aren’t from here (but got here as fast as they could), making Denver a city populated with people from all over.
You’ve probably also noticed that you could swing a cat and hit a dispensary, learned what a “14er” is, and realized that Denverites OMG LOVE BEER. Whether you partake in these extra curriculars or not, there is definitely an air reminiscent of the Wild West here that still permeates the city…We’re an independent, free-spirited, adventurous bunch. Give us our whiskey! Our yoga retreats! Our boutique tea selection! Our micro-lot coffee! And by God, don’t make us work on Fridays!
Despite all the fun to be had here, it can be hard to meet people when we’re freshly new in a city. One of the things we LOVE working with our counseling clients on at Root Counseling is helping them build strong relationships. Relationships are, quite literally, the thing that makes our lives most enjoyable. Without relationships, we wither and can often become isolated, depressed, or just plain lonely. We focus on women’s counseling in Denver. It’s our jam, our joy and our absolute privilege to help women work through anxiety and loneliness to find the relationships they crave and deserve.
Sorting through all the options for Denver counseling can be tough. If you’re interested in building strong relationships here, we would love to chat with you about our services! Give us a call at (720) 363-9188, or book online here. Then when you bag that first 14er, you’ll have a smiling buddy (or several!) standing next to you on that mountaintop, equally ready to pass out. 🙂
